- She cut taxes in Alaska Tell me more about that!  Only thing I can think of is that she did get legislation passed to cut the cost of a business license in half. Since my business license is up for renewal in December, that will make a small difference in my bottom line this year. Don't know that it will encourage new startups, but when you're investing without immediate return -- every bit helps. Dennis

It's humorous some of the things one hears about Sarah and AK on national news the last week. The distance creates a different frame of reference for us versus those down in America.
A few days ago I heard that Sarah had "served on a commercial fishing boat". As if she crewed on a factory fishing boat or something rather than a family set-net site.

PS wait until the Press looks into Sarah�s back ground because it looks like McCain should of spent more than 1/2 hour with her and he should of asked some pressing questions before his announcement. The dice he has tossed have a fuse burning on them and he forgot to think before he made her the one, very messy and that is really too bad because I use to support McCain(2000 Really!) before he climbed into bed with GW and C Rove.

Probably most remembered for spraying bullets around a nightclub from a handgun. Remarkably, he didn't injure or kill anyone and was never really punished for it. Aka - Puffy, Puff Daddy, Diddy, Sean Combs.

It's funny to see all the "conservatives" drooling over McCains VP choice.....while at the same time being played for a chump by McCain.
He goes and gets a liberal that agrees with conservatives 1 out of 1000 things to speak at the convention....please.
Then he nominates a conservative in the one office that has absolutely ZERO POWER to do anything, other than to break a tie and do you really think anyone he got as a VP wouldn't do that in the right direction?

Regarding the economy, ours was doing ok till the libs took over the senate.Things sure went downhill from there IMO.
The only change in my economy has been a result of fuel prices.
If the libs would allow drilling, refineries, nuc plants we would be out of this mess in record time.
