GW, how life treating you? Been enjoying that doubler. Thanks again. Scott, I'm doing great! Work's busy, kids are healthy, got a new puppy, and my oldest daughter bagged her biggest buck to date last week! Glad to hear you're enjoying the doubler and I hope things are well in your neck of the woods!

What happened is Steelhead insulted my faith, unprovoked, for the millionth time. I didn't turn the other cheek this time. I tried for years to make peace with Steelhead, but he'd never remain peacable. He got what was coming to him, and those who coddled his insulting beahvior for so long are now so all shocked and wringing their hands. What utter BS.............

Something about that comment makes me sick in my stomach. That is a very dark place. You mean I should have said his sister was in Hell?

Again you just can't accept the fact that it was never your faith, it's you. You could be a friggin atheist or druid for all that it matters.
Cut off an ear yet, I have faith you will.

First, Blaine - thank you for your service to our country.
The same to Steelhead.
Besides krp's wise words, I'll add this. If you have a disagreement with somebody, it's better to stick to the issue at hand, even if you're getting personally attacked, and not make it personal. It's easier to get things solved that way, and you gain respect when people see you're maintaining control of your emotions.
Bringing up a opponent's family tragedy in the course of a debate, even in a heated debate is pretty mind-boggling to me. I can't remember ever seeing anyone, in any argument, do such a thing.

Cut off an ear yet, I have faith you will. You just don't get the purposely going around and trashing my threads, trashing my faith, and being an insulting prick at every turn makes you beneath comtemptable and deserving of much worse than I gave you. I repeatedly tried to make peace with you, but there is something so screwed up in your head that you could never do that.

Something about that comment makes me sick in my stomach. That is a very dark place. You mean I should have said his sister was in Hell? Surely, in all reality, you can see how dark that comment is. No? ManOman...leaves one sick in their stomach, really. Wish I hadn't read that. I liked it better when we were all talking chit and just joshin' around. This dark chit is waaaaaay too close to what I was raised with. Makes me chit twitch and feel sick. Dark. Really, really dark, man.

Because it's pretty apparent to me what kind of person you truly are, and that is a sanctimonious POS. Why would I want 'peace' with a person like you?
Sorry I hurt you and didn't powder your ass and call you special. Guessing there is much that is a mystery to you and having an hint of a sense of humor is tops on the list, besides the self-mutilation.......

However, he thought I did, so I apologized anyway.
