Jugs we used for a bullet test yesterday My little sister practicing for her first deer season last summer Youngest brother on our last back country elk hunting trip. He made a bow out of a willow stick, sting out of twine, an arrow out of another willow stick, feathers from a grouse, and even a broadhead out of a piece of elk jaw bone he found in camp.
Proverbs 12:27 The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

My son when he was 8 with his first deer kill. I really preached shot placement. I think he did alright!! I got the Model 70, 7-08 from mudhen, the stock from highridge1 and I'm pretty sure I got the 140 grain partitions from Onpoint.
Take your kids hunting, instead of hunting your kids.

Who's the dumb ass with the tanned black bear head on top of his head? I donno, but he told one of the funniest stories I've heard in a long time.
Camp is where you make it.

Monsoons change the landscape from brown to green in a hurry... and last month the fires were the headlines... pic at 75 MPH. Last friday... Family from across the country converged on camp. My sister and stepmother Myself, Dad and niece... she didn't care if she fished at first but ended up catching around 10 and being the leader on the boat... lol She's headed to Uganda next month for 8 months on a missionary assignment. My BIL from my wife's sister that were up camping also... and my nephew from my younger sister, who is headed back to college, graduating next semester in engineering... That's very confusing I know, but they got along great and talked about education and jobs like they were long acquainted. Camp, before the mob... Shin guard... Az style... Awesome awesome thread guys!! I don't have a way to post pics from my phone but my jack russel Baxter has been spending all the hot days in his 40 gallon water tub with just his snout sticking out like a gator. And I just took a 9 year old boy in that dosent have much of a father. Went to the closet and dug out the 10/22 today, were going on possum safari tonight after we meet the teacher.

My wife and granddaughter Kaitlin in our favorite stand, over looking a peanut field. First fishing trip on the Cooper river in my brand new Ranger. Granddaughter Kaitlin with a big bream on the Cooper river. Couple of toms on the farm Wife's first deer. I lost a perfectly good Kimber after this hunt!!
