Good thing they do not sell this brand here in Sweden!

Cape Cod.

I buy the reduced fat because I think they are a little crispier.

Charles Chips were the best. Utz is a close second, okay, now first 'cause they're actually available. At least at home?

Figures, people in CT can get Utz's, but I can't always get them when at my cabin in northern PA. Sometimes the grocery store there has them, most times they don't.

You haven't enjoyed the full potential of potato chips until you've eaten fresh ones.

I used to buy huge boxes (about a bushel at a time) from the old potato-chip factory in Missoula before Lay's bought it and shut it down to eliminate the competition.

Then every night before my stroke destroyed my ability to swallow, I used to slice #1 potatoes as thin as I could get 'em with a big Salad-Shooter and deep-fry 'em in a huge stainless stock pot full of peanut oil.

FRESH potato chips in peanut oil and FRESH popcorn in coconut oil every night! No king ever et better!

Zapp's. I like my potato chips to taste like potato, I hate all the flavored versions.

It's weird. I haven't even heard of half of these chips. They must be a regional thing.

When I was a kid we actually had a regular potato chip delivery from Mr. Chips potato chips just like the milk man. I couldn't find the can from that era, but this is one from an earlier era. They were delicious. When you finished them, you left the cans out for pickup and they'd leave that many replacement cans.

ATTENTION ALL CHARLES CHIPS FANS: They are still around, (I didn't know that). Look up the company history on Wikipedia or check out the availability at Amazon.com. The company has changed hands several times over the years so I don't know if they're still as good as I remember.

I like the Lays Kettle Cooked Chips, particularly the Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper and the Salt and Vinegar varieties.
