Yeah, they are actually cheaper. Guess some guys don't read the box. a friend has used them in .30-06 for deer, elk antelope and bears for 10 years or so. No "pencil through" experiences ever. mtmuley

Try again. You get 100 per box of Scirocco IIs and 50 per box of Partitions & Accubonds, etc. Sciroccos are cheaper than Accubonds.
In fact right now on Midway, 200gn Accubonds are $38.99 for 50. Scirocco IIs are $69.99 for 100. Yep, they are cheaper. The Accubond LR is also 100 bullets

Awesome bullet, used the 165 in my 06 on sambar and brumbies years ago. Perfect mushroom on the 3 I recovered from broadside shots, high weight retention even on a slightly high spine shot and very accurate out of my lightly customised 700. I had them just off the lands in front of re-22. Nothing got away that was hit with them.

The SSII is my everyday bullet. At 180 grain in a 30-06 I have taken elk, white tail and pigs. Ranges from 50 yard to 324 yards. None of them went more than 15 yards most fell within 5 or less yards. No issues with accuracy, in fact tried all the premium bullets and the SSII grouped the best for me. As far as "pencil through" it would only be considered to do that if you use a mushroom for a pencil, in my experience.
