I have been told that the 3.6 L V6 Pentastar engine has a pretty serious design flaw. The plastic oil filter/oil cooler housing is prone to fail and the design allows all of the top end oil to drain back into the pan overnight, so the whole top of the engine is oil starved during every morning start. There is at least one, probably more, after-market aluminum units that are less prone to fail and are designed to keep some oil in the filter and cooler that is immediately available to the top of the engine.
I was going to buy a Grand Cherokee with the 3.6, but my mechanic told me about this design flaw and advised against buying any Chrysler product with that engine. Of course, he could be wrong and the after-market units might be a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, but is it worth the risk on a used engine that already has thousands of morning starts behind it? It wasn't for me. Dorman has an all aluminum housing replacement that isn't that difficult to swap out if it is an issue. I am very mechanically inclined so take that in consideration with my comment it isn't that difficult.

If I've got $3k disposable income to spend, I certainly wouldn't be looking at that, when you can get a darn near indestructible KAC SR-15 for that or less, if you can find one.

That XTR 257 is calling to me.
There was a Gander Mountain in Fredericksburg Virginia. They had a closeout on these around the 2008 timeframe. I could’ve bought a lot of these stainless walnut guns for just over $600. NIB. The manager (member here) said he would pull one caliber of each and hold them for me. I loved the look of them. I just bought 2. Both 270s.

Any trafficked children coming to El Rancho Buzzy? Ask your hero when he isn't too busy in court or posting on truth social. Less than 1.6 mil illegals under 4 yrs of Trump. Closing in on 10,000,000 under 4 yrs. of brandon and your crush tester. The cities are collapsing, the economy is going south, inflation higher than its been in decades and you support it. The epitome of quisling/useful idiot.

Re: DATA POINTS H-414 & w 760

If 760 and H414 were different powders, Hodgdon who has been reporting identical velocities for like powder charges for several years, would not have willingly ceased marketing H414 where rightly or wrongly, a market of followers had been created.
Another point, I used to load 64gn of 760 behind 150gn bullets in my .30/06, 30+ years ago and you will never see charges that high these days. 62gn has been my load for perhaps 20 years to this point.
Batches vary, data varies, bullets change both in shape and hardness. (How many remember when Speer used to be the hardest of the big 4?)
Lasty, to understand powder lot variation, you need to use the same lot in various cartridges and bullet weights and compare that to historical data in those same rifles. (Using as much of the same consumables as possible)
It is common to note that a particular batch may emulate several loads in several rifles so therby appearing consistent, then throw a load way out of wack in other rifles that is inconsistent with your historical records.
Handloading is invaluable if nuance identification and management is important such as in attemting to rationalise or limit powder inventlries.

Get a .22 K Hornet and reload easy and cheap. A pound of powder will go a long way. If you don't reload, get a .223. I like the Hammer 33 gr. over 300 MP and 450 primers in my K-Hornet. Very accurate and great terminal performance. DF
