Re: which 22 mag to get...

I wish somebody would make a .22 Mag. like a Kimber Montana or a Rifles,Inc. Ultralight, with an 18" barrel around 4lbs.
If they could get the price low enough they should sell really well. I’d buy one.

Manned Launch Tonight Not SpaceX
RockyRaab
05/06/24
A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket will launch Boeing’s Crew Space Transportation (CST)-100 Starliner spacecraft with two NASA astronauts, Barry “Butch” Wilmore and Sunita "Suni" Williams on the Crew Flight Test (CFT). Following separation from Atlas V, Starliner engines will burn taking it the rest of the way to orbit and on to the International Space Station. CFT is ULA's first human launch. Liftoff will occur from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. Liftoff is set for 10:34 pm Eastern. Rocky's notes: This the Boeing capsule that suffered a near-loss on its first unmanned test launch and has gone through four years of technical issues and delays since. I sincerely hope the two astronauts make it unscathed. Watch on NASA TV or HERE

Our kids and grands will think this new level of incrementalization is normal. Just like we think it normal that you can't order a gun online and have it shipped directly to your house.
Oh, and FJB, FATF and anyone else who thinks this schit is cool

Don’t waste your time
Another Fox News clueless neocon
If these clueless American “patriots”. Praise endless mid east wars, have zero understanding of history, and want to ban the the constitution, there is no hope for America
The same morons who supported the patriot Act after 911. That was used to spy on and destroy the middle classroom You fools couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with your “accusations”…I haven’t watched Fox News in 10 years and certainly don’t watch the liberal media either. NeoCon???🤣🤣🤣 Obviously you either didn’t bother to read my post or english is not your strong suit. I just consider jew hating conspiracy theorists as part of society’s sewage pond. Small minds require simple explanations; blaming the Joos for everything is a time-honored, very simple coping device for the ignorant. This. Ike warned us about these types. As a rule, low wattage malcontents who blame their lack of success on a minority whose intelligence and industriousness have led to prosperity. Evil NAZI betas like Eric are the first to disarm the populace and ban firearms

Re: Gettysburg
Mule Deer

Kirk,
Good to hear you're touring other parts of the USA!
Have "done" Gettysburg twice, the first during a day in the early 1990s, when we happened to be in Pennsylvania with Eileen's relatives, including her stepfather-in-law who grow up in that area. The second on a guided 2-day tour a few years later, which we specifically scheduled on another "East coast" trip. Have also toured some other Civil War battlefields, including Antietam (which as others have mention is also fascinating), along several others, mostly in Georgia but also other locations.
But have also "happened" across other areas where the evidence remains. One was on the 800-acre "farm" which Melvin Forbes and some of his friends owned in West Virginia--where there were short stone walls in the middle of the thick woods--with rifle ports, made during the fringes of the Battle of the Wilderness....
Let's compare notes when you come back to get more horseradish.
John

FS; AR build stuff......
hino895
05/06/24
After moving to Kentucky I got to unboxing my shop and I've got way too much stuff. Back in the Obummer days I built a lot of ARs for customers and acquired a lot of parts. I don't think those days are coming back for me but maybe someone else can carry on. This is what I have for sale.... 1. 2 A2 stocks one military one civilian no buffer tube but one rifle buffer. 2. 2 M4 stocks mil spec. 3. 4 complete Mil spec triggers with springs but no pins. 5. 4 carbine buffer springs. 6. 14 Mil spec M4 grips. 7. 12 complete sets of Mil spec trigger-hammer springs. 8. 28 Mil spec trigger guards. 9. 3 forward grip/bipods. 10. 2 A2 carbine Glacier guards. 11. 5 miscellaneous hand guards/ rails. I am selling this as one package cause I don't want to send a piece here and a piece there. Probably going to have to ship this in two boxes unless I can find a bigger box. My asking price is 275.00 shipped to your door. Thanks. There's one more picture available.

Re: WTB 17 Hornet
VarmintGuy

Bigstrapper66: I have been shooting my heavy barrel Ruger 77/17 Hornet for several years now and I HIGHLY recommend that you seek one out! Three main reason I recommend the Ruger 77 V/T for you: #1: My Ruger is exceptionally accurate with both factory ammunition and my handloads (mine has a Weaver 4x16 power variable scope on it). #2: The 6 shot rotary magazine of the Ruger simply HUMBLES any other magazine system I have seen in use to date! #3: The original 24" barrel aids in steadiness of sighting afield! I know you subservient citizens of taxington CAN NOT shoot Badgers anymore but if you get out to "Badger country" the 17 Hornet is "death" on Badgers (as well as Rock Chucks, Prairie Dogs, Fox and Coyote). Keep looking - I know you will be happy with the 17 Hornet when you get one. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

the more I think about the people that I have lost along the way.
Maybe being a wilderness guide wasn't the best career choice for me. 5sdad Hope you didn’t lose them while guiding buddy, that would not be a good career builder. Know what you mean though, at 85 you really begin to lose them fast, pretty soon your the last Take care buddy, you ever get this far south give me a shout. Don That's a very kind offer - thank you, John.
