Re: Federal Premium Hammer Down....what bullet?

So then Hot-cor, Deep curl,Gold dot, Hot-cor, Fusion, Power-Shock plus others and now Hammer down. The nickel shells are nice touch. They will look nice on the 50 round shell carrier. It's a 30-30 carbine, not a tool that is really suited for game bigger than deer and black bear. Juicing up the 30-30 will not make it a two hundred yard moose or grizzly rifle. Speer\Federal really should just put development on hold and produce ammo.

I know they're HD pickups meant for towing, not MPG, but I've still got to ask:
Mileage running empty on the highway and @ what speed if you don't mind? As high as 17 at 70. Hills and headwinds affect. Daily driving 13 with 50-50 California freeway driving. I had to have a catalytic converter replaced at 20,000 miles, otherwise it has not been in the shop. 22 F250 XLT premium package, 28,000 miles. I know they're HD pickups meant for towing, not MPG, but I've still got to ask:
Mileage running empty on the highway and @ what speed if you don't mind? 22 f250 70-75 11 mpg......around town 10-11.......I was hoping for 15-16 on the open road. 16,000 miles. had to have evap can filter cleaned because of intake location....sucking up dirt....bob Which gear ratios if you don't mind please. Mine has the standard 3.55. First gear is lower than the older 6 speed trans with 4.30s. Mine is 10 speed with 4:30

Re: Has anyone Never Been To Las Vegas. ?

Certainly!! It is a great place to travel to see a lot of natural sites. On our last trip, 8 days, we went to Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon, London Bridge, Drove to California and back in one day to see the Sequoias, hit Death Valley, visited several Ghost towns, went to Rt. 66, toured a working Gold Mine, went to Grand Canyon and walked on the Indian glass overlook over the canyon and more. Cheap hotel rates and rented a car after flying in. Been to many of these sites before but well worth visiting again!! Went to all these places and more, it was a great time. This reminds me of several things that were outside the norm, like spending the day with a hooker at a car dealership, it was truly random and fun. Or watching a movie being made and camping and partying with a bunch of floozies from the cast for 3 days. Or a snowy day at Grand Canyon sitting by the mule ride weigh scales when a hot blonde in a red thong gets off the train and comes in next to me, so I had to ask and she turned out to be very nice and a little cold. The memories have taken up more than a few brain cells. Almost made me forget about the mojave green and gila monster.

Re: If Trump is elected what are his first moves
rickt300

I think it will have to be the removal and replacement of Wray and the CIA director Burns and Garland. Then the arrests of all who worked to suppress political speech on social media. DHS would face similar actions, CISA also. Since Trump would have to use the DOJ to pull off much of this, none of whom have shown the slightest hint of integrity I don't see it happening. His first four years were interfered with to an incredible degree, I see this happening again. For this single reason I don't see the election of Trump as anything but the ignition of unrest.
Anyone with a more positive view? Care to share it? The Election is for President, not Grand Emperor King and Dictator for Life. Funny thing you Biden voting jackass, nothing less will make the country right again.

I've never had that happen but have had necks split. Couldn't tell you what caused it but that hasn't happened in a long time. I've Unique lube on A Q tip when it seemed like the expander was pulling hard and problem went away. Mostly though I use One Shot spray and spray opposite side of the case's and down on both side's from about 45* angle getting lube in the neck. Seldom ever a problem.

Re: Inflation?

Yup inflation all right. General Mills gives a $300 million dividend to investors, bought back $150 million in stock to enrich exects and investors and pays its CEO $16 million. It makes $2.1 billion a year in profit.
It is raising prices on cereals 20% and blaming "inflation".

Probably my last price drop before I move it to Ebay. Shipping is going to work on me with this one.
$100 shipped.
That's a Clasic Cast press for just a little more than an Aluminum one.

Re: Say you hit a dog....

Unless it looks like they might come over the hood, I don't leave the road for animals....
If I can avoid them and stay on pavement I will try.
Squirrels???? I don't even twitch..... hell, they don't even know which way to run.
I have hit a dog, heavy, hard thunk... looked in the rearview and he was doing slow 360s on his side.... I didn't stop!
Heading home from work one day, N Florida, swampy area, saw an otter crossing the road, looked like he was doin just fine, was gonna be a clean miss.... 'til he stopped, stood up on his hind end and stared at me, same lane........... oh well!
