If you have a smart phone download the YP, Yellow Pages, app if it isn't already on your phone. It will tell you the cheapest fuel prices for where you are are, or are going. It isn't always accurate though, especially when the price is way below the others.
Fuel is expensive here. Cody is at $2.85 a gallon and is usually higher than anywhere within a hundred miles. Cheyenne will be as cheap or cheaper. Casper may be more expensive than either place.
A lot of bike trails around Cody. Stop by Absorka bike shop across the street from K-Mart and pick up a map of the local trails.
30 to 45 minutes to Sunlight Basin north of Cody.
Newton lake past the Cody Shooting Complex north of town should get the girls some fish, as well as Beck Lake just east of town. You'll pass Beck Lake on your way into Cody from Thermop.
A tarp over the back of the truck should keep things relatively safe in town at night. During the day there shouldn't be any problem. Never had anything stolen here, although some years ago some elk hunters had a rack stolen from the back of their truck at one of the motels.
