Well in case something messes up,firing pin,springs ,scope etc.
Everything is trustworthy till it aint !
And scopes are the same way.
If a scope goes bonkers or takes a hard fall I have another rifle and scope ready to go.
Much better than having to drive a 4 or 5 hour roundtrip drive home to get another rifle !
Plus if and after I get one with one rifle I will use the other one.
