We found a little groundhog honey hole yesterday. My son made the furthest shot of the day at 484yrds. They seemed to be out everywhere we looked, he said it reminded him of prairie dog hunting in KS but a ghog is a much bigger target. It's a lot harder to have days like this around here, just seems like there aren't as many ghogs around....wonder why?
Nice work....I don't think I've ever seen that many GH's in one pic before....matter of fact....I'm sure I haven't...
PS.....don't let your son besting you get you down....it's hard to compete with young eyes.....
It doesn't bother me at all, I'm proud of him plus, He only beat my best yesterday by 11yrds. We actually shot 6 more but they either fell down into a large brush pile or made it back in the hole before we got to them. It was our best day ever, we rarely have such a target rich day here in the East. We really need to make another trip West to shoot pdogs or squirrels again.
