Wyo, the rifle on the right is my son's factory 700 22-250, for an out of the box rifle it shoot's unbelievably well. the other is my 17FB. He has a 4.5x14 Burris BP scope the on his. I have a ballistic app on my phone that calculates the yardage for each plex, it's a lot easier now than it was for me 20years ago guessing yardage and Kentucky windage!
He also carried his 17M2 for any close ups we had.
I'm a bit of a varmint caliber addict so the hardest thing for me is picking which rifles I want to take!
The 17FB is still kinda new to me so I wanted to bloody it up a bit. I have a .222 600 that I haven't bloodied up yet so it might go next time!
When I started ghog hunting years ago the only varmint rifle I had was a savage 219 in 22 hornet.
I've never hunted in PA but always heard there was some good ghog hunting up there.
