I get phenomenal accuracy our of my 336 SC (made in 1950) with the Speer 170 and 32.0gr of WW-748. This gives about 2000fps. 34.0gr gives a little over 2100 fps and the groups open up to about 1 1/2", but this is using an aperture sight (Williams FP).
