I killed another doe with my old Marlin and the 170 gr. Speer last Sunday morning. Easy peasy... shot behind the shoulder from about eighty yards as she walked through the timber the 110 lb. doe ran about 60 yards and piled up. Had a good exit with about 3/4" - 1" hole and an easy blood trail full of bubbly blood.
