Not at all. Evil exists. I know you know that. That it exists at the highest levels of politics is totally understandable. These people are warped by so many powerful forces in their lives like power and wealth, and perverse sex is just one avenue they often choose that is another outlet for their corruption and perversions. Also turning from the One True God to true evil, is also a path that many follow, as decadence has no stopping point but always demands more perversion to be satisfied. The internet and social media has facilitated their abilities to identify and mingle with those of liked warped minds and black hearts.
