I've got a text in to Kevin to ask him, but he has not gotten back to me as yet. I was not real sure if it was a M14 or a M141, so when I know more I can let you know. A buddy of mine has a M14 in a .30 Remington I know and so does my uncle and both those rifles are in retirement because the ammunition is so scarce. Those M14's are about the lightest .30-30 equivalent rifle that I've ever handled. My .35 M141 was over built I thought, a real chunk and it sure didn't need that long of a barrel.
