andrews,

I forgot, someone else mentioned turkeys in CA (Salmonella?) . Last I heard there's a decent population of them in the Cuyamaca Mtns, and Laguna Mtns, east of SD. As in they are pests in some of the communities out there from what I've heard.

Anyone else know, are deer tags still relatively easy to get in SD County?

If you do decide to hunt down there, you'll learn about chaparral, poison oak, chaparral, rattlesnakes, chaparral, poison oak, and chaparral. And some heat too, especially the Santa Ana winds if you're near the coast or just in general for summer in the East County.

You never mentioned what part of SD you are being transferred too. Various regions have their own personalities.

Feel free to PM me if you have other questions.

Again, good luck.

Geno
