Funny, "easy button" is how I described the 308 to a co-worker when he asked what he should get for deer hunting.

I have a decent array of big game rifles from 243-375 and really like my boring 308 and 30-06.

They just kill stuff, no fluf, no BS and no drama with good old fashioned "soft points".
