I was wondering how it was going to take for someone to suggest the .30-06 Improved (aka .270 Win.).
Use 130 gr bullets for bean fields.
Use 150 gr bullets in the woods.
And if recoil is a problem, slap a Sims LimberSaver recoil pad on it.

But there is nothing bad I can say about the .25-06 or the 7-08 either. I have all three.
