First lever I hunted with was a Savage 99C in 284, loaned to me.

Later, a 1980's Winchester 94. Couldn't get rid of that soon enough.

Got my dad's 1954 Marlin 336 in the safe, and it's a great rifle.. MOA with 170gr Partitions will do the trick.

But the Savages rule...
