I have really been wanting to get a 30-30 for some time now, it's next on my list of rifles after I find a good .375 h&h. Who on earth thinks a 30-30 is too weak for hogs and deer?! I would definitely think that anyone who has gained that belief through field experience is lacking in the aiming department..... Anywho, i've been looking at marlins and really like them... Does anyone have recommendations on these guns or other lever makers? I'm looking for a lever rifle that will be used for deer... And anything else I find the need to use it for
