Here is the final installment of a project I have posted about at various stages.
LH Model 70 7 mm Rem Mag, long throated specifically for 168 gr Berger VLDs Port opened, extractor and boltstop modified for longer cartridges. Brux 1-9 twist CM barrel, 24", custom contour of my design--about .55" at muzzle. (Mark Penrod did the chambering, action mods and bluing.) Tang recut to cloverleaf, built up and checkered bolt release; (James Anderson did this work.)
Williams floorplate, somewhat resculpted. McMillan/Echols Legend in Edge construction 1/2" NEGC red pad Polane paint, done locally Talley bases and rings Minox ZA5 3-15x Weight as you see it is 8# 1 oz.
I like the flow of the grip, out of the tip of the checkering and into the bolt release cutout.
