Back in the mid-1990's,before owning a chrony, I used a lot of 60 gr. Hornady Spire Points with H-380 for an accurate enough hunting load. Never had the opportunity to use it on deer but it destroyed a good many 'chucks. The heavier bullets were never the most accurate in my M700 VS,(14 in. twist),but they always spoke with authority and made me wonder what they'd be like on bigger,easier to hit targets, like deer..
