The Rem XCR II is almost a pound lighter than advertised on the Remington web page. Mine weighs 6 1/2 lbs without scope, sling or ammo. Shooting 375 H&H through my XCR II in 375 Weatherby is sweet, recoil on factory 375 Weatherby loads is a bit sharp, don't think I'd want to shoot an XCR II in 375 RUM without a brake.
