I am starting to pre-scout via google earth and TOPO maps; can anyone give me a viable starting area relative to the two camps?
I keep kicking around buying a wall tent and stove, so as to camp in style and be prepared for Colorado Elk. Any thoughts as to this?
I have a large wall tent with wood stove that I'd bring, also will bring my 7X14 enclosed "huntin" trailer. Just need to make sure of fire rules at the campsite. Don't buy a wall tent/stove just for this trip, you'd be more than welcome to bunk in mine. All you'd need would be a cot and sleeping bag.
