I told George this today, I don't know if it was having another set of eyes to look for sign, or another head to discuss ideas with, but today was by far the most successful scouting trip I've had.
We found several areas that had tons of sign, a few of them even having just about all you could ask for. No kidding in one spot we found a travel route with bedding on one end, water and food source (acorns galore) on another and deer tracks going from bedding area to the water source. Even some fresh scat with acorns in it!
Did find a lot of coyote tracks and poop too, hope to nail a few of those suckers!
