I am starting to pre-scout via google earth and TOPO maps; can anyone give me a viable starting area relative to the two camps?
I keep kicking around buying a wall tent and stove, so as to camp in style and be prepared for Colorado Elk. Any thoughts as to this?
Yeah, some camps there, during some parts of the year, are closed to hunters.
I'd love a nice wall tent, but have been considering a tipi set up.

I've thought about a tipi setup but I keep coming back to wall tent and ultralight tent combo for the best of both worlds. I see the tipi as in-between.
