Thanks Muddy. I got in the habit of using a hasty sling years ago and am no longer conscious of it. I just automatically do it. I've never used one with a barrel band though and was just wondering.
"An archer sees how far he can be from a target and still hit it, a bowhunter sees how close he can get before he shoots." It is certainly easy to use that same line of thinking with firearms. -- Unknown
