I'll be 75 this deer season. Hunt alone. Had back surgery in '08 and never came fully back. When I turned 70 I noted energy, drive, and strength declining.
Shot three nice deer last fall and found it really difficult to drag each of them up the hills, home. Been loading some Accubonds into the Roberts AI cases so plans are to hunt again this fall.
How many more seasons? God alone knows but my dad shot his last buck at age 86 and died at 87. May I be so blessed!

BE STRONG IN THE LORD, AND IN HIS MIGHTY POWER. ~ Ephesians 6:10

Socialism is a philosophy of failure,
the creed of ignorance,
and the gospel of envy,
its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.
