Those large frame 3rd Gen S&W's are GOOD reliable pistols and the 1006 may just be the most durable 10mm ever made.
Be advised that those guns aren't factory supported anymore so baby your magazines (if you buy it) and stock up on used ones when you can find them. After all, a pistol w/o a magazine is just a single shot .... at best.
That price looks OK based on what I've seen lately.
