Price gouging is a pejorative term referring to a situation in which a seller prices goods or commodities at a level much higher than is considered reasonable or fair. I understand the term just fine, I just disagree with the concept. If the buyer feels the price for an item is too high, let him buy the same item for less elsewhere � if he can.

And it doesn�t matter what the buyer intended to do with it, there was no �price gouging� going on in your narrative.
