I've hit one . Me and a friend were going bow hunting years ago. Narrow back road in Wva wasn't going that fast but a beagle ran out in front of my truck. Nothing I could do. I stopped and knocked on the door. Guy said he had just started doing that when he got older. Did the same thing to the neighbor's blue heeler. I stopped and talked to Junior, who wasn't happy about it, but said he'd taken to chasing cars lately. He came out after my truck, trying to bite the left rear tire, and I squished his head. He said it was his best dog, but had gotten all caught up in chasing vehicles. I'd known Junior and his father his whole life, they lived a couple of miles from Dad's place. Still feel bad about it, though.

Re: Irrigation thoughts? Constant water in yard.

Who can I turn to to find the source of seeping water that been plaguing my front yard for years? City came out twice and says it ain't them- no chlorine. I had this problem last year - my water co. came out, I pointed out the seepage, they dug and repaired it. I would think the city would be all over that. If your city continues denying that apparent leak, call TCEQ and let them rip into your city. P.S. I'm assuming that the leaK is more or less right above the water line??
