Before I bought my S&W shield 9mm I tried a Walther. It functioned fine but I just didn't like the way it pointed. Even though it was heavier than the shield it had more muzzle flip and was actually more difficult, if not unpleasant to shoot. Complicated to field strip also.
I love my 9mm if we can just get the 40 working it will be great.
