I found an '05 Dodge I wanna buy for a farm and work truck. It's not a daily driver. It has 296,000 miles though. I test drove it and it drives great. It's an automatic and has a flatbed. The trucks condition doesn't reflect the mileage in my opinion. I know it's not a new truck .I'm thinking it will suit my purpose fine.
Anyone else running a 24v 5.9 Cummins? Is the mileage too much?

The 5.9 24v is a very fine diesel engine.Buy it if the price is right.I had a 2004 dodge 2500 5.9 cummins with the auto tranny ran it to about 90,000 miles. Replaced some front end parts for around $600 bucks.The only problem I had after 8 years of ownership.I now drive a 2016 Ram 2500 with the 6.4 hemi as I no longer need a diesel.
