So, I read about Dodge front ends needing to be rebuilt @ ~150K, some maybe a bit sooner, some last a little longer. Realistically, how long does one really think front suspension parts should last on a 4x4 HD pickup? My '95 and '01 Ford 1/2T trucks both needed work @ 90K or so. Current '11 F250 @ 108K still feels nice and tight up front but if I've got to put $$ into front suspension @ 150K I guess I won't think I was robbed or something was defective.

So, what's the consensus? How long should an HD pickup front end go before needing work? Highway use vs. lots of off-road obviously changes things so I think 2 answers is pretty valid.

I can walk on water.......................but I do stagger a bit on alcohol.
