I've yet to hear of a Dodge 2500/3500 front end lasting 150k, 90-100k is the norm and that's for freeway use. My '06 needed the rebuild at 100k, both front hubs, ball joints et al. If my use was lots of offroad and/or plowing I would consider that reasonable, but it was 95+% highway and in town use. I almost lost a front wheel when the passenger side front hub bearings went South. I noticed a slight vibration when I got on he highway, after a couple miles the vibration got worse and when I pulled to the shoulder my wheel was held on by one of eight lugs, the rest had sheared off. Fortunately I was in town when it happened, there are areas I regularly drive where I would have had no shoulder to pull off on and 200 mile tow bill.

I'd think 150-200k would be a reasonable life for paved highway use.
