Greg and Jay, I'm not sure most scopes hold zero reliably, actually pretty sure they don't.

Its a given in the hunting world that you verify zero after traveling, and for good reason.

I personally have had two confirmed Leups lose zero riding in the back seat of truck. The first on accident, the second a test with a totally different scope.

My buddy Hondo thought it was an anomaly, so on my trip to Texas we tested his Zeiss Conquest the same. It move significantly, and the look on his face was classic. grin

I confirm zero on a lot scopes each year for friends. More often than not they have walked since the prior year, most having not been fired, or once or twice at the most. The scopes cant handle ATV and UTV travel throughout the season.
