Wow! That is a real beauty. I have a much abused and modified version, unfortunately not full stocked like yours. I wasn't even aware that the L46/Vixen models included a full stocked version. Mine was rechambered to 223 Rem at some point. It is one of the most accurate rifles I own despite everything. The rifling twist on these things is about 1:14 and, as you noted, they don't do heavy bullets well. I got the 60gr Partition to shoot OK, but mine excels with the 55 gr and under bullets.
