Yes, it's the two piece forend. I've had it apart to have the rebore job done and to install the recoil pad. The steel hangar they use is pretty unique.

Here's another cow elk it downed. The herd fed out into a meadow just before dark and paraded right past me at maybe 40-50 yards. You have to watch out that you don't have two side by side or that Nosler will will do double duty. I've never had one stay in a carcass.
