Seeing a full stock rifle with no front sight really jars my nerves! Something's wrong there!

That rifle is mine. The bottom rifle is more of the "classic" full stock with carbine length barrel and open sights. I had the 7x57 for a while and decided to stock a custom .257 Roberts with a full stock. I wanted something different, something no one else had. I knew it would wear a scope and be used in typical deer hunting scenarios. It is a longer than "classic" barrel. It has a large cheekpiece that is not typical for full stocks and is made from a laminated blank. And, as you have noticed, it has no front sight. I didn't feel the need as long as I knew it would be scoped only. If I ever get rid of it, the next guy can put on whatever he feels like putting on, and he can carve the stock into whatever he feels like carving it into. In the meantime, I guess I have the only full stock rifle without a front sight. You don't have to like it. It's mine.

It does shoot Barnes 100 TSX's into 3/4" though. Pretty is as pretty does.
