Aided and abetted by progressive republicans, they sowed chaos and damage across the entire fabric of the Country. Socially, economically, militarily, scientifically. It will take years to undo the damage, if indeed, it can be undone at all.
Material issues can be reversed in short order with appropriate funding and procurement (Regan did it). However, the systematic destruction of the Warrior Culture via social engineering I doubt can ever be repaired.
Unfortunately, we need both the material fabric rebuilt & as well as re-establishing the Warrior Culture rebuilt ASAP as the cheese in Asia is beginning to get binding; if we can't do it, then we are really fu^cked & in the not too distant future, the country as we have known it will no longer exist.
And that is a pretty scary scenario, at least to my thinking.
