Thanks, that's good info. My heart keeps looking at those old rifles that I thought were so cool when I was a little kid shooting NRA Junior matches but my logic tells me that CZ Trainer or the Ultra is the better fit for what I'm thinking of.
Going to go to Sportsman's Warehouse tonight or maybe this weekend, I think they have one of those CZ's in stock to check out in person, either the 24" (actually almost 25) or the Ultra long 28" model. That 28" barrel would sure provide a nice sight radius but that might even be too much of a good thing.
