Jim, you might look for a Remington 341. Mine has a 23” barrel and is 42” overall. Great shooter and nice walnut. The lifter is a well thought out system that carries a cartridge from the magazine to the chamber. I think it holds 15 rounds. I picked it up for $150.00 so you might find one in that range too.
