I'm concerned about the 3 1/2 hour trip each way
Crazy that charters actually do that.
3 1/2 is a bit extreme, but it's 1 1/2 hour ride from port to the mouth of Resurrection Bay, and you're going to run at least another 1/2 hour to get to a chicken patch. Montague is a good hour from the mouth of the bay and can have outstanding halibut fishing.
You guys in SE don't know how good you have it.
