RWS Subsonics work on squirrels for me but doesn't stop them like a high velocity hollow point. Frankly they work about the same as an adult air rifle except actually quieter in my opinion. Super accurate in my rifle but they don't pack a lot of oomph. Headshots on woodchucks are good, body shots and they'll run under the shed. I'll "smell victory" a day or two later.
