I never enjoyed fishing from the kayak. Just too limited with regards to space, and I have issues trying to turn and reach stuff behind me. I probably paddle more than most folks though. I enjoy paddle camping and day trips. In Florida there are a lot of perfect kayak rivers. In this picture, I'm on the Kissimmee River near Yehaw Junction. The kayak is a 10 year old Wilderness Systems Tarpon 140. As fine a kayak as you can find.

That "sit-on-top" Wilderness is made by the same South Carolina company as the Perception "sit-in" kayaks I buy. I have been seeing a few of the Tarpons here lately.
