The kayak is a 10 year old Wilderness Systems Tarpon 140. As fine a kayak as you can find.



i like the kayak because i fish shallow, rocky, slow moving streams with a few minor rapids. i agree that the yak is not as handy as a canoe but i can load/unload/carry it myself. i like the old town vapor because it has a big open cockpit so i don't need to put anything behind me. but if i was going camping, it would be a canoe.
