No one mentioned a Kimber Super America? I haven't owned one, the ones I saw in the shop sure look purdy.
Yes, someone did. But the OP said, "I’d like to keep it around $1000, give or take." A Kimber Super America will cost you more than that. You're right though - they sure are purdy.
