Hello RDW, DAMN, and Thanks! those 220 gr Speers looks amazing, near or far, as 200 yards is my max range with this rifle, my load leaves at 2175 fps with the same bullet.
And No Sir, haven't fired a shot, even though I could have already tagged out, you see, between the time I started this thread and now, some real HOGS of buck deer have shown up, I've held my fire on everything, including plenty of single legal doe deer and even one 17" 8pt, the big boys are going to be in play soon, maybe I can smack one.
If not, I'll have plenty of time to tag out on deer at the end of the season, plus, I have nilgai in December and cow elk in January, that old rifle will get a good workout for sure before Spring.
