Not done it personally, but a 70 year old hunting buddy and his 59 year old desk jockey girl friend made it in fine order with a well managed tour group. Had porters to pack both camp gear and personal bags. Pretty much just hiking with no need for serious climbing skills. Photos from the top showed them slickered up and with several layers on.
They did spring for some sort of trip/evacuation insurance in case shtf.
